Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pensieve ("the Service"), operated at pensieve.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pensieve is a context layer for your company's AI. The Service enables users to connect their context's data sources, from which it builds and maintains a structured model of their company — their context layer. Users can explore that context layer and connect the AI tools they already use to it over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service processes your content using AI models to build and maintain your context layer.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. Contexts and Access

Contexts are isolated, collaborative spaces within Pensieve, each with its own connected sources and context layer. Context owners and administrators are responsible for managing membership, permissions, and connected data sources within their context.

5. Connected Services

You may connect third-party services (such as Notion, Google Drive, or Slack) to import data into Pensieve. By connecting these services, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share that data with Pensieve. You may disconnect any service at any time.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or import into Pensieve. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and analyse your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models. Where your content includes personal data from your own business systems, your context acts as the data controller and Pensieve as your processor, governed by a data processing agreement available on request.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content

The AI agent may produce content, summaries, and suggestions based on your data. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it.

9. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pensieve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
